Manjeet Mann

Writer

Manjeet is an actress, author, playwright and screenwriter. Manjeet spent two years as an associate artist at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Soho Writers lab and Quarterhouse Theatre in Folkestone. Her plays have toured nationally to critical acclaim. Most recently her stage adaptation of her debut novel Run, Rebel won best production at the 2025 Off west End Theatre Awards. Other plays include, Flying Solo and A Dangerous Woman. As an actress she has worked extensively in theatre, TV, film, radio and audio books. Her first short film The Link was produced by the BBC. Manjeet is also a multi-award-winning author of young adult novels and picture books. Manjeet is also the founder of Run The World, a not-for-profit working with women and girls from marginalised backgrounds and using sport and theatre as a means to empower and train future community leaders.

Wendy Harris

Artistic Director, Chair of PYA England

Wendy has held the position of artistic director at Tutti Frutti since 2005, touring nationally and internationally, co-producing the Little Feet Festival of Children’s Theatre, and leading on the development programmes and arts engagement work.

Catherine Chapman

Set and Costume Designer

Catherine has been a freelance designer for over fifteen years. Her designs have travelled the world with audiences seeing her work in Toyko, New York and Kong Hong. She first worked with Tutti Frutti in 2005 and over the years has designed many shows for the company including Ugly Duckling, Rapunzel, Hare and Tortoise, Monday’s Child, and The Princess and The Pea.

Vince Virr

Movement Director

Vince is a Bradford born choreographer, performer and vertical dancer/director and has performed, presented and collaborated in 28 countries across 6 continents.  He is currently touring his Imaginate commissioned outdoor dance works Pop! and Then What and has recently been a guest choreographer for Northern Ballet. He is also Associate Aerial Director for Upswing's Bloom and Choreographer for Mind The Gap’s Lighthouse. vincevirr.com

Sara Burns

Lighting Designer

Of Nordic heritage, Sara Burns is a Lighting Designer working across theatre, television, and live events. Recent Tutti Frutti Productions theatre credits include, Underneath a Magical Moon, Glass Slippers, The Lightbulb Princess, Yellow is the Colour of Sunshine, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and Rapunzel.

She was Lighting Designer for the Olivier Award-nominated 10 Nights (Graeae/Tamasha/Bush Theatre), Hello and Goodbye, (York Theatre Royal) Colder Than Here, Blue Stockings, and The Beggars of York. Other credits include ongoing collaborations with leading creative agencies, designing for broadcast events and architectural installations. Sara also lectures in technical theatre design, bringing a passion for storytelling and visual atmosphere to the next generation of theatre-makers.

Lee Affen

Composer / Musical Director

Lee is a versatile composer, music producer, and sound designer specialising in creative content for theatre, dance, film, and radio. His extensive portfolio features productions for notable organisations like Derby Theatre, Sheffield Theatres, and The British Library. He's contributed to a wide range of works, including Kiss Me Quickstep, Death and the Kings Horseman, and Too Much World at Once. Lee has also created original live scores for classic films such as Metropolis and Nosferatu. He also holds positions as a Director for The Bare Project and an Associate Artist with Box of Tricks Theatre and Utopia Theatre.

Christella Litras

Musical Director (Vocals / Singing)

Christella Litras is a songwriter, musician, composer, vocal arranger, record producer, creative support officer (Leeds Playhouse) and founding member of Caution Collective. She composed the musical score for Windrush: Movement of the People by Phoenix Dance Theatre, which celebrated the 70th anniversary of the arrival of the SS Empire Windrush.

Calum Clark

Production Manager

Calum is an experienced production and technical stage manager who has toured nationally and internationally with Tutti Frutti since 2016. Other escapades include Wrongsemble’s Not So… trilogy (Leeds), Archipelago Arts’ Mother Of The Revolution (Leeds) and numerous site specific projects with Slung Low (Hull, Sheffield, Manchester).

Emily is a Yorkshire based Actor, Singer and Executive Director of Clown Space, a theatre company specialising in Clowning, Mask Work and Children's Theatre. 

Miyu Potin-Sawada

Swallow and Mouse

Miyu Potin-Sawada is an Actor-Musician, graduated from The BRIT school and a 2025 graduate of the Guildford School of Acting. She has recently performed in an actor-muso-led production of ‘Pinocchio’ at The Old Joint Stock Pub and Theatre in Birmingham and is very excited to be diving into this production. Miyu would also like to thank her agent at Innovation Artists, as well as her family and friends, for their continued support.

Their credits include Em in Here Be Dragons (Unfolding Theatre), Ruby in Ruby’s Worry (Mishmash Productions), Gretel in Hansel and Gretel (CAST Doncaster), U/s Annie 1 in The Years (Harold Pinter Theatre), Onstage Swing/Shirelle in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (UK and Ireland tour), Princess Beauty in Sleeping Beauty (Hoxton Hall), Kai in The Lightbulb Princess (Tour), Narrator in Godcatcher (Edinburgh Fringe), Narrator in The King's Polar Bear (Hat Factory Arts Centre), Mouse in Billie the Kid.

Steve Watling

Stage Manager

Steve has over 25 years of working primarily as a Freelance practitioner in Technical/company Stage Manager/ Production Manager roles with a variety different theatres and theatre companies both nationally and internationally. Steve has toured internationally with a number of shows inc, 1927-‘Animals & Children took to the streets’; Second-Hand Dance-‘Grass’ & ‘Getting Dressed’; Humanhood- “Infinity”

Steve really enjoys working with Festivals and Site-specific Projects inc; Transform Festival, High Tide Festival, Proper Job Theatre Company & Bradford City of Culture 2025.Steve regularly works with companies and organisations such as Polite Rebellion, Tangled Feet Theatre Company, Unlimited Theatre, Leeds Playhouse & Leeds Conservatoire. He lives in the Pennines North-East of Manchester where he enjoys walking, running and is involved in local community projects.
