About Us
Working With Us
For each of our productions we work with a range of artists and freelancers in a variety of disciplines.
On a typical show we usually work with a set and costume designer, movement director, writer, lighting designer, composer, stage manager, director and two or three performers who tour the show to theatres and schools. To find out which creatives we’ve worked with previously, browse our Past Shows and Projects section.
‘A true 5-star performance leaving you wanting to see more of this fab group’ – North West End
We are continually looking to meet new creative practitioners who are interested in working within the children’s theatre sector – if this sounds like you, visit our Information for Creatives page and get in touch using the Contact Us page.
We cast performers once a year for our autumn touring production. As an equal opportunities employer we encourage applications from artists that reflect our diverse audiences. All job opportunities are posted on our Jobs page and on our social media channels.
For our projects we work with artists to deliver our online work and community engagement activities. These range from creating activity packs, schools resources, online readings to delivering workshops as part of the Tutti Frutti Club in Harehills. During 2020 and 2021 when unable to tour, we created a series of online performed readings in partnership with Leeds Libraries, which showcased stories written and created by global majority and disabled artists.
We announce our shows one year in advance of touring. Theatres, community venues and schools can view available shows using the ‘Information for’ section in the footer of each web page. In these sections you will also find additional details, including technical information and how to book a show.
We are also open to co-productions and commissions – if you have an idea or partnership opportunity that you’d like to discuss, or you just want to help make something – please get in touch through our Contact Us page.
