WiLd!

by Evan Placey

WiLd! was selected for the 39th annual IPAY International Showcase, which was held in Madison, Wisconsin, USA from January 18-21, 2017.

A story of a boy

Running, jumping, no time for sleeping, a boy with a big imagination

Playing, diving, can’t be stopping, a boy who feels lonely.

Imagining, dreaming, better than schooling

A boy who loves the outdoors.

Leaping, soaring, no space for listening

A boy they call WiLd!

Writers’ Guild award-winning writer Evan Placey teamed up with Tutti Frutti and CANDAL at Nottingham University to create this fantastic one person show that unravels the story of a wayward yet fragile and misunderstood boy, living within his untamed imagination.

A brilliant, clever, cheeky new play celebrating all things ‘wild’ with a fabulous sound track, live music and fresh moves.

‘WiLd is that rare event – a genuine theatrical must see’
– The Yorkshire Post

‘Once again tutti frutti have brought a delightful, thought provoking education to the stage’
– Yorkshire Times
