Leeds City Council sets up scheme to thank frontline workers for enormous efforts during COVID-19 pandemic
Co-ordinated by Leeds City Council, a scheme has been set up to provide thousands of free tickets, discounts and special events for NHS and frontline workers across the city as a special thanks for their enormous efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
So far, 68 of Leeds’ cultural and sporting organisations have joined the scheme including Leeds United, Leeds Rhinos, Yorkshire Cricket, first direct arena, Henry Moore Institute and Phoenix Dance.
Several other local businesses and organisations have also made the pledge to thank frontline workers, including theatres, museums, cinemas, festivals, and galleries.
Although their turnstiles, stages and screens remain quiet at the moment, when it is safe to reopen, thousands of offers will be made available for NHS and frontline workers to take advantage of.
The tutti frutti offer…
As part of #LeedsSaysThanks we at tutti frutti would like to offer two families with Key Workers free tickets to see one of our Leeds performances aimed at children aged 3+ and their families.
As we are still negotiating our tours and navigating our new landscape, we will go live with this offer when our new tour dates are confirmed. To keep informed please follow our social media accounts (insta, twitter, facebook) on @tuttifruttiprod for updates. We will annouce the offer with the hashtag #LeedsSaysThanks
